Week commencing 11/05/20

Hi Ospreys!

I hope you had a great long weekend and used some of the VE Day resources to celebrate with your families. Have you watched the video the By Brook Valley team made for you? Thank you to those who have got in touch to let us know how much you enjoyed it. I thought it might be nice for us to do a similar thing for our class. If you would like to join in, please send me a photo of you holding up a message you have written for the rest Ospreys. I will create a new section on the class page and upload the photos this week so please send in your picture as soon as possible. Your parents must give permission for your picture to be shown on the school website. 

Here are the resources for this week. We are finding out about the expansion of the Roman Empire and the life of a Roman soldier in our history learning. In maths, we are developing our addition and subtraction skills and in English, we are examining reports and using different tenses. How are your seeds getting on in your science experiment? This week, we are looking at how water is transported around a plant and we have a new experiment to see how temperature might effect this process.
