Week 5 4/05/20

Monday 4th May 2020

Hello Hawks,

I hope you have all had a good weekend and have managed to do some nice things with your families? Thank you for all of your "keeping in touch emails last week," it's always lovely to hear what you have been up to and see some of your exciting home projects. I am putting together a collage of all your vehicle photographs, so if you have not yet sent me a photograph, and would like to share your vehicle with the rest of the class if you could email me by Wednesday I will then share them with you on here and in my mid week catch up.

This week try to get your maths and English done in the mornings and then use the afternoons to do other things. The Can Do Maths this week is fraction equivalents, (this is learning you have already done in class, so should be  revision,) but don't forget if you get stuck you can go onto the Can Do Maths youtube channel. You will be able to access the new My Maths tasks from Monday this week.

There are shorter writing tasks this week, and even a short video message to record.

Enjoy the VE research and preparations, even if you are not having celebrations at home you can plan a VE Day 75th Anniversary Party!

I know you are all missing your friends and as we enter into the seventh week of being away from each other, just remember this;

Have a good week, stay safe and look after yourselves.

Mrs Willoughby

The Education Endowment Foundation have produced some really useful information to help parents manage the home learning process. The link below gives support with establishing routines and I have included documents to support this as well as some help and advice to get the most from reading with your child.
