14th March 2014

In DT we have been building bridges out of paper, straws and masking tape. We spent time thinking about what makes a good bridge; we found out that triangles are the strongest structure in bridges. After we had built our bridges we tested them using a toy car. The bridge had to hold and transport the car. All of the bridges were successful and met our criteria. In gymnastics we have been learning the 5 steps to performing perfect jump. We all enjoyed using the springboard. Our group work was very good and we preformed some challenging assisted jumps. Next week we are looking forward to starting our Bikeability training and making our story books in French.
