The sun came out on our final full day at PGL! We had a brilliant time taking part in the activities today which included the climbing wall, zip wire, giant swing and aeroball. It was wonderful to see the children challenge themselves beyond what they thought was possible. Here are some photos of today’s adventures.

 

 

After dinner, our evening activity was a movie night. We changed into cosy PJs and watched Ice Age 2. There were even some treats to eat while we watched! Then it was time to pack up our cases to get ready to leave tomorrow. We are looking forward to playing Disk Golf in the morning before getting back on the coach to come home. We can’t wait to see our families and tell them all about our adventures. See you soon!

After a delicious cooked breakfast, we headed out for our first activity of the day. It was cold and we had a few snow flurries but it didn't stop us from having a great morning. It was wonderful to be able to warm up inside during lunch before starting the afternoon of fun. Our evening activity was a quiz night. We have arrived safely at Liddington and it looks beautiful in all the snow! Once we had dropped off our bags, we headed to our first activity of the week. Two groups had archery tag and 1 group tackled the challenge of Jacob's Ladder. Once we had finished, we settled into our bedrooms and spent some time relaxing before dinner. Our final activity was balloon splash which everyone really enjoyed. The object of the game was to create a protective barrier around a water balloon to stop it bursting when dropped. We split into 6 groups and completed a series of challenges to earn coins which we could then spend on materials to create our protective designs. The adults were so impressed with the final results. The group with the surviving balloon were able to throw the water balloon at Louis, our PGL leader!
