Week 3 (w/c 20.04.20)

22.04.20

It's been great to see so many of you have been working on My Maths this week and completing the homework I have set. I have left feedback for some of you on the division work you have completed. You can find this feedback if you click on scores and the division section.

Please note: If you have completed a piece of homework and have an amber/yellow or red star then you need to have another go. You want to get a green star at the end, which means you have got enough questions right to show you have a good understanding.

I hope you are enjoying learning about our new topics - Shakespeare and the human body. I will be setting more work linked to those topics next week. I have also been sent some fantastic art based on Van Gogh's sunflowers, keep up the good work!

Take care and enjoy the sunshine!

Miss Davies :-)

Welcome back Eagles!

I hope you've managed to have a relaxing and enjoyable Easter break in the current circumstances.

The learning for week 3 looks slightly different than before the holidays. We are starting a history topic, which is going to link to our English - Shakespeare. In science we will also be starting a new biology unit - the human body. There are knowledge organisers for these two topics below, I will also put them with our other knowledge organisers.

In addition, we have arranged a new online resource for maths learning called My Maths. You will have received an email with instructions, your username and password. I have set some number work for you to complete, it is NOT new learning. Please email if you have any problems.

As before, I will send an email out to all parents on Wednesday to check in. In the meantime, please email if you have any problems or need help. I am not expecting you to email work to me to be marked, but would love to see anything you do if you want to share it. Remember, you do not have to print out these sheets, you can copy the questions into your exercise books.

In case you want it, there are some 'extra work' activities and ideas below - enjoy!

I know this is an incredibly difficult time for everyone, but I also know you will all be trying your best.

There is additional support for you online from Childline:

And for your parents from the NSPCC:
