Week 4 27.4.20

Dear Falcons,

We are at the start of week four of learning at home.  I want to say ‘Well done!’  to both you and your parents. I know it’s not easy carrying on without seeing your friends or teacher, I miss you too.  But I know that you are still smiling and making me really proud, continuing your learning at home.

It is great to hear that some many of you have been making the most of the sunny weather and getting outside, lots of you have told me that you can now ride your bikes without stabilisers. I am still doing Joe Wicks every morning I am certainly getting better at squats, and I love doing the spot the difference game he does.

We are beginning a new history topic this term, looking at Samuel Pepys and his diaries. The task for history this week is to find out who he is, and why he is important in teaching us about life in the past.  You will find a new history Knowledge Organiser to help you.

I love receiving all your emails and the pictures, I especially love last week's art, where you used things you have found on your walks these were beautiful and original. I am going to give it a go this week, I'll share mine with you next week. It is great to see that so many of you have managed to login and complete the 2 tasks that were set for last week on MyMaths.  I have set new ones for this week. Please let me know if you are having problems getting on to these.  There are lessons on there too so it might be good to do the lesson before you do the task as a refresher.

This week we are starting

I know you're all doing your best.  I look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing more of your pictures and learning.

Enjoy your week, take care of each other and keep smiling!

Mrs Hulford

Note for parents, thank to all of you who drop me a quick email to let me know how things are going, this is really helpful when planning learning for the next week.
