What a fantastic first week we’ve had in Reception! The children have settled in beautifully, showing lots of smiles, confidence, and enthusiasm as they begin their school journey.

We’ve already made new friends and learnt all about our school promises, which will help us to be safe, kind and ready to learn.

During Busy Bee time, the children had so much fun exploring and playing with their new friends, sharing toys and taking turns. We also went on a welly walk around the playground, using our senses to spot, listen and discover the exciting things in our outdoor environment.

A big well done to our Star of the Week – Conor! He has been such a kind friend and had an amazing first week in school. We are so proud of him!

Reminders for next week:

• PE Days: Wednesday and Thursday – please make sure children have their PE kits in school.

• Lunches: Children will stay for lunch on Thursday and Friday.
