We have had a busy week of learning in Ospreys.

In English, we started our class book, Escape from Pompeii by Christian Balit. We will be using the book to help us with learning how to write a diary and we learnt what the key features are when writing a diary. We also explored new vocabulary in our guided reading lessons from the book.

In Maths, we have been learning about portioning tens and ones and how to use flexible partitioning.

In RE, we have thought about what it means to belong. We discussed the different groups that we belong to and how it makes us feel to be part of a group. 

In science, we learnt that a force is a pull or a push and investigated different ways that items can be a pull or a push.

We have been practising for our Harvest service in October and the children are doing very well at learning the  new songs.

Please continue to read with the children 5x a week and practice on times table rockstars.
