We have been very busy with our learning this week.

In English, we have been learning about adverbs for time and how to write about emotions and feelings in a diary. The children are really enjoying our book Escape from Pompeii.

In Science, we are continuing to explore forces and this week as scientists we were investigating magnets and discussing how they can repel or attract from each other. 

In History, we learnt about the Roman Invasion.

In PE, we have been practising balancing and co-ordination and made our own obstacle courses to practice our skills.

On Friday it was European Languages Day. We had a parent come in and teach us some German. We learnt about Iceland, made flags and leant to say hello.

We have also been learning how to add and subtract hundreds, tens and ones maths.
