Autumn Term 2 Week 2
Anti-Bullying Week and Children in Need!
We started off the week with lots of anti-bullying activities to help us be aware of what we do as a school to avoid bullying. We discussed how we can be kind to others, and we had a challenge to use our 'Power for Good' and do something kind every day this week! We all wore odd socks as well for the occasion!
In English this week we have been reading instructions together and learning the features that we need to include in our own instructions! We have planned out a class set of instructions to make a 'Magic Christmas potion' and started to write them out too! We have written our titles and what we need!
In History, we compared past and present London! The children had to lay out pictures of London underneath the subheadings: Past or Present. We then drew pictures to show the comparisons of different categories such as transport, people, buildings and what it looks like at night.

We have enjoyed doing lots of Autumn art activities, such as leaf printing, leaf rubbing and colouring in Autumn leaves.

To end the week, we have celebrated Children in Need. It was great to see everyone in their favourite sports kits! The sports leaders led a warm-up for us to start off our day. We took part in the Joe Wicks Activate challenge for schools, designed Pudseys' bandanna as well as spoke about what we are raising money for.

Thank you for another great week Falcons!
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Hamilton :)
