Term 2, Week 4! 28.11.25
We had exciting visitors this week! The fire brigade visited us and told us lots about fire safety and showed us what they had to wear and why. We asked them lots of questions, and we told them how there wasn't a fire brigade during the great fire of London and how they used leather buckets filled with water to try and control the fire.
We continued to look at money in maths this week. We learnt that 100p makes £1 and we found different ways to make £1 with our different coins. We also 'went shopping' and had to work out how much change I would get.
In science, we completed our experiment on 'what balls will bounce the highest?' We had great fun finding out the answer to this and recording our findings.
In PSHE, we had different scenarios to create freeze frames from. We had to think about what each character would been feeling like and why. We then discussed what a bystander meant and what a bystander should do if they are witnessing unkind things.
We are in full swing of rehearsing our nativity play. Please make sure we have your costumes by next week.
