Term 2, Week 6! 12.12.25

A brilliant week full of Nativity performances!

The children did amazing this week with all their nativity performances. They sang and danced their hearts out and did themselves proud. Well done to all of KS1 and EYFS, you were all A-MAZ-ING!

We finished our writing to persuade this week. The children wrote about why we should have a school garden. The children came up with brilliant reasons for why we should have a garden or shouldn't, and they used subordinating conjunctions to help explain.

In maths, we started looking at groups of objects and repeated addition ready to introduce the multiplication symbol next week!

The children have loved our DT unit this term about Tudor Houses. After researching and designing their own Tudor house, they made their own out of cereal boxes, card and paper. The children used different cutting and joining skills to help create their Tudor houses, and they turned out great!

Thank you to Miss Foster who is leaving us today to go to a new school in the new year. She has been amazing, and we wish her good luck in her future teaching career. We will miss you!

Star of the Week is….

Sami! For working hard on his reading and always trying his best!
