Spring 1, week 2

We were all shocked to discover some trapped vegetables in our classroom! After investigating carefully, we uncovered the truth… it was the Evil Pea causing mischief! The children were full of fantastic ideas and quickly got to work. We created our own maps to help track down the Evil Pea and even designed clever traps to try and capture the cheeky culprit. The teamwork and imagination on display were amazing!

In Maths, we explored balance and weight. The children used the words lighter, heavier, lightest and heaviest while comparing different objects. They did a fantastic job explaining their thinking and making careful comparisons.

In RE, we learnt all about the Chinese New Year story. The children enjoyed listening to the story and then retelling it using animal masks, which really helped bring the story to life.

A big well done to our Star of the Week, Hadley
Hadley is an excellent role model who always tries her best and shows a wonderful attitude to learning. We are very proud of her!

Have a lovely weekend
