Spring 2, Week 4

This week, we went on an exciting adventure to Antarctica! We learned all about the freezing cold weather and discovered some amazing animals that live there, including penguins. The children were fascinated by how these animals survive in such icy conditions.

In Drawing Club, we enjoyed reading the story Lost and Found. We had lots of fun writing secret codes for the boy and the penguin, using our imaginations and early writing skills to create messages for the characters.

In Maths, we continued our learning about 3D shapes. We went on a 3D shape hunt around the classroom, spotting shapes in our environment and talking about their properties.

During PSHE, we discussed how we can help ourselves go to sleep and why sleep is so important for our bodies and minds. The children shared some lovely ideas about their bedtime routines.

A big well done to our Star of the Week, Arianna — we are so proud of you!

Have a lovely weekend
