In Maths, we continued our learning about time. The children have been working hard to read and compare both analogue and digital clocks. 

In English, we read chapters 4 and 5 of The Iron Man. The children are now using all of their narrative learning to plan the exciting endings for their very own stories!

In Religion and Worldviews we are exploring Hindi beliefs. We learnt about who Brahman is and discussed how we all have different roles within our lives and the wider world.

In History, we discovered the massive impact of the Twelfth Night battle. The children learned how Alfred the Great successfully defeated the Vikings and won back Wessex.

In science, we explored the life cycle of plants, specifically learning how plants are pollinated and fertilised.

Important Reminders

• Wednesday: Sports Day (Please ensure children have full PE kits with a coloured t-shirt for their house if possible and water bottles).
• Friday: Colour Run (Children to wear PE kits)
• Reading: Keep reading at least 5 times a week at home and log it in the reading records.
• Homework: Remember to practice your times tables and weekly spellings.
