The Owls have been amazing this week, coping so well with the warm weather. We made sure to stay cool by drinking lots of water, spending time in the shade and, best of all, enjoying some water play! 

In Drawing Club, we began learning the story of Little Red Riding Hood. The children loved joining in with acting out the story and are becoming more confident at remembering what happens next. We also created a Little Red Riding Hood small world, where the children used their imaginations to retell the story, giving each character a different voice and bringing the tale to life. 

In PSED, we have been thinking about how we have changed since we were babies. The children enjoyed talking about all the things they can do now that they couldn't do before, and we had some lovely discussions about growing up. We also talked about respecting and looking after our bodies, including the importance of keeping ourselves healthy, safe and clean.
