Summer 2, week 5
What an exciting and busy week we have had in Owls!
We had a wonderful time on our school trip to Westonbirt Arboretum. The children loved exploring the beautiful woodland, searching for magical fairy doors hidden amongst the trees. They even made their own fairy wands, using natural materials they found during our adventure.
During our visit, we learnt all about different animal habitats and were amazed to discover a huge badger sett! We also explored a variety of trees and learnt about the life cycle of a tree, discovering how they grow and change throughout the seasons.
Back at school, we enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day. Every member of Owls impressed us with their enthusiasm, determination and brilliant teamwork. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, trying their very best and celebrating each other's successes.
On Friday, we finished the week with our class assembly, and we could not have been prouder of Owls. The children spoke confidently, remembered their lines and sang beautifully. Their hard work and confidence shone through, making it a very special occasion for everyone who came to watch.
Well done, Owls, for such an amazing week! We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
