summer 2, week 7

What a busy and exciting week it has been in Owls!

On Tuesday, the children returned from Falcons after their turnaround session and settled back into class brilliantly. It has been wonderful to see everyone ready and eager to learn.

In phonics, we have been learning the 'qu' sound. The children have enjoyed practising the new sound and building words, becoming more confident readers and writers with each lesson.

We were also very lucky to watch the fantastic Year 5/6 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The children were so impressed by the wonderful acting, singing and dancing. It was a real treat, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

On Friday, we watched the guitar concert and had a fantastic time bopping along to the music. It was lovely to see the children enjoying such a variety of musical performances and celebrating the talents of others.

A huge well done to our Star of the Week, Conor! Conor is always kind, considerate and polite. He is a wonderful role model for our class, and we are very proud of him. Congratulations, Conor!

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
