We have had a great week in Hawks this week settling into Year 4 :). 

This week we have been focusing on our high expectations in Year 4 and how we can do our best learning in the classroom. We have worked hard to focus on our presentation, positive learning behaviours and show our best selves in and outside the classroom. 

This week we have been developing our writing and presentation skills. We have developed our language by modifying verbs and adjectives. In maths, we have started looking at place value and representing numbers in the thousands. We have loved our PE with Mr Peters where we are learning a class dance for the dance festival. In our other PE session we enjoyed problem-solving and creating our own games. 

Star of the Week:

This week our star of the week ... Freddie! Freddie has shown the school promises all week and has been a great role model in the class! 

Reminders:

- Home learning went out with the curriculum newsletter today, so please check your child's bag. 

- Please bring in water bottles and reading records each day. 

- PE days are Wednesday and Friday.
