We have had a very busy week of learning and are feeling tired and ready for the weekend!

In Maths, we have continued with our learning of place value and have moved onto partitioning tens and ones and also how to partition in different ways.

In English, we have started our whole school hot write based in the film Up. We have been describing the characters and the settings using expanded noun phrases.

We have been learning about longitude and latitude in Geography and how these imaginary lines help us to find places on a map.

In R&W, we learnt how Christians believe the world was created by God.

We worked in partners and teams in PE this week practicing throwing and catching with beanbags, tennis balls and footballs.

In music, we had fun creating sounds with our bodies and voices. We then learnt a song in three parts which we sang in harmony together.

Star of the week this week is Ariana! Ariana has been working hard and contributing in all lessons. Well done Ariana!

As part of home learning please continue to read 5x each week and record in reading records and practice TTRS.
