In maths, we have been learning our number bonds to 5 through songs and practical, hands-on games. The children have been exploring different ways to make 5 and developing their number skills through lots of fun activities.

In Drawing Club, we watched a clip from the old programme Trapdoor. The children loved using their imaginations to create their own secret codes to bring the monsters and the castle to life!

On our welly walk, we got creative outdoors by making fairy houses and bug hotels. We loved using natural materials and thinking about the little creatures that might visit our creations.

On Friday, we had a fantastic time gardening together. The children worked brilliantly as a team to make our outside area look lovely and sparkly. We were so proud of their enthusiasm and teamwork!

Star of the week

A huge well done to Rupert, who worked so hard during Big Write on Friday. He is also always so kind to others and a wonderful member of our Owls class. Well done, Rupert!
