Autumn 1 week 5
What a great week!
As always, Ospreys have been working hard with their learning, so we decided to do some baking on Thursday. We made apple scones using the apples from the apple trees at school. They all had lots of fun making them and they were delicious!
In Maths, we have been using number lines to count up to 1000 and estimating numbers to 1000.
In English, we planned and wrote our diary hot write using all the skills we have learnt about diary writing this term. The diary was based on Escape from Pompeii.
In History, we have explored what life would have been like for the Celts and the Roman soldiers under Roman occupation.
In Science, we continued with our topic on forces and investigated how items can be moved with an invisible force!
We are looking forward to seeing you all at our Harvest Service on Thursday at St Maragrets Church in Yatton Keynell at 1.30pm.
We would be grateful for any harvest donations.
It is Hello Yellow Day on Friday for World Mental Health Day. We are asking children to wear something yellow with their PE kit. They will all need to be in their PE kits for a taster lesson of Taekwondo.
Thank you for your continued support.
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Boddy :)
