Term 5, Week 5! 23.05.25
In English, we wrote letters to King Charles to tell him about all the rubbish in the ocean. We used subordinating conjunctions to extend our sentences and give reasons. Miss Knapp is going to send Kestrels letters to King Charles once everyone has finished writing them up in their neatest handwriting!
We went on a nature walk to find flowers and leaves to press into our clay for art. The children looked carefully at what they could find because they needed a strong pattern they could press into their clay.
We have loved our yoga sessions this term. The children showed great perseverance with all the different balances we have been doing this term.
In science, we finished our observations on our two investigations. The children concluded that the broad bean that got light, water and warmth grew the best and looked the healthiest. They also noticed that the cress that didn't get any light grew tall, crispy and yellow.
Star of the Week is….
Phoebe for creating a wonderful letter to King Charles about helping keep our oceans clean!
