We’ve had another fantastic week in Reception. 

In our Sounds-Write phonics sessions, we’ve been learning the ‘qu’ sound. The children have done so well spotting it in words and practising writing it too — we’re so proud of how they’re growing in confidence with their sounds!

In Maths, we’ve loved playing our new favourite game, ‘Around the World’. It’s really helped us get even better at finding 1 more and 1 less than a number up to 20. The children have shown such enthusiasm and quick thinking — well done, everyone!

A special mention this week goes to our amazing Owls, who really impressed us with their confidence and enthusiasm during our class assembly. You all spoke so clearly, sang beautifully and made us so proud.

And finally, well done to our Stars of the Week — Lyra and Fenella! We are so proud of you both.
