In Drawing Club, we read the story Not Now, Bernard and created our own secret codes. The Owls loved exploring our new vocabulary, including destroy, ignore and fearsome! We also had an exciting surprise when the monster sent us a note saying he wanted to eat Mrs Henshall! The children couldn't wait to write their own messages back to the monster at our message centre.

In Maths, we have been representing groups of 4 and 5 in different ways and practising our subitising skills. The Owls have been working hard to recognise these quantities without needing to count each object.

In RE, we have been thinking about the question, Who is Jesus? We discussed how Christians believe that Jesus was sent to Earth to teach people how to be kind and good.

A big well done to our Star of the Week, Ada!  Ada always follows our school promises and consistently tries her very best.
