Autumn Term 1 Week 4

European Languages day and Baking!

This week we have had some visitors!

On European Languages day, Falcons class had the responsibility to learn the word Hello in German! We made German flags which we took into assembly, and we said "Guten tag" to the rest of the school! We also had two lovely visitors that taught us a bit of Spanish and French!

We had an amazing Marrow brought into school by Matilda! We thought it would be a good idea to incorporate this into our baking which we used apples picked from By Brooks field too! The children enjoyed grating, mixing, and pouring to create a delicious cake which we all enjoyed trying once it had baked!

We looked at the difference between objects, materials and their properties in Science. Before our writing, we played the matching game!

Falcons got to be artists this week! We practised our drawing skills by drawing objects from different perspectives!

Have a lovely weekend!
