This week we have been working really hard in English to prepare our writing for our hot write! The children do an assessed piece of writing after each unit as an indpendent piece of work that showcases what they have learnt and how they apply it. This week the children wrote a diary entry for their first hot write and they all did brilliantly! 

In maths, we have been practising our number formations as well as learning how to use a part-part whole model to help us add two numbers together. The children worked practically in groups as well as producing written sums for their books. We have also started looking at fact families but will focus on this more next week. 

The children have continued to practise the /ee/ sound in phonics! We will be moving onto /oe/ next!

Falcons also enjoyed working out different tools to help them digitally paint this week.
