Term 4 Week 4

Friday 25th March 2022

Earlier on in the week Falcons partnered up with Owls Class to do some lovely Spring time sketching. The children worked in pairs and trios to carefully observe the blossom, clumps of daffodils and the willow tunnel. They noticed frog spawn on the pond, forget me nots and daisies on the field. We listened to birdsong and showed thankfulness for our peaceful environment at school.

In maths the children have continued to impress me with their place value knowledge representing numbers pictorially and as numerals beyond 50.

In English we have been working on using our scenes to help us structure describing sentences thinking about movement words, colour words and sounds that we might hear. We have been thinking carefully about different openers ad ways in which to start sentences.

We have missed many of Falcons Class this week and hope they are feeling much better and we look forward to seeing them back next week.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, wishing all Falcon's Mummies a wonderful Mothering Sunday and hope you are COVID free and get to enjoy the sunshine!
