Well done for another great week in school. This week we have started our new class text and we have looked at formal and informal language and how we can write contractions. In maths we used hundreds squares, place value charts and number lines to add ones and tens to a two-digit number. We had a very interesting computing lesson learning about the fact that not everything on the internet is true. In geography, we also started our comparison of Yatton Keynell to The Caribbean by finding out what we already know about The Caribbean and what we might want to find out.
This week, we celebrated Lyla for showing our value of ‘compassion’ by helping other children. We also celebrated Ramiyaa’s writing.
All pick and mix homework sheets have now been given out. Copies of these sheets can also be found under the ‘home learning’ tab on our class page.
Have a lovely weekend. (If the weather is bad, it’s always fun to read a good book!)
