What have we been up to this week?

This week in Hawks we have moved onto division! We have been using the bus stop method to help us divide 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. We have enjoyed writing our instructions in English and focused on editing our own writing. In Science we experimented to see how the digestive system works, using mushed up banana, biscuits, orange juice and a pair of tights to represent our small intestine! In RE we have been diving deeper into Judaism and have learnt all about Passover and their Seder meal to celebrate. In PE we have been enjoying our swimming and TAG Rugby and are now playing games of TAG rugby.

Star of the week:

This week our star of the week is ... Sophie! Sophie has shown great perseverance in her lerning and is always kind and helpful!

Reminders for next week:

-Please bring in reading records each day and read 5x per week at home. Spellings are sent home and TTRS for maths. 

- PE days are Wednesday (swimming) and Friday (TAG Rugby).

- Please book a parents evening appointment as they are starting next week.
