We have had a great start back to the term... 

We have been continuing our learning on Florida and the weather that they experience there. 

This term in science we are exploring classification of animals, we have already learnt so much about animal groups and what makes them part of those groups. In maths we have been focusing on perimeter of shape and have been using our multiplication and addition knowledge to help us. We are now looking at writing non-chronological reports in English and are gathering information about America to creat our own. In PE we are enjoying netball and yoga. Our music topic this term is 'Rock and Roll' and so far we have learnt about the Hand Jive and the evolution of Rock and Roll. 

Star of the week: 

Last week our star of the week was ... Fleur! Fleur is always kind, caring and enthusiastic! Well done Fleur!

This week our star is ... Cecily! Cecily has shown great care and focus in art this week, as well as an artistic flare! Well done Cecily!

Things to remember: 

• Home learning is now stuck to the bottom of EMT sheets. Please practice your spellings, maths task and read 5x weekly. 
• Next week is our 'world book week'. We have asked the children to create a world book day hat to bring into school. See the newsletter for more info. 
• Please bring in reading records and water bottles each day.
