Spring 2 Week 4

This week we have been writing our non-chronological reports on America. The children worked extremely hard to create their double page spreads and they are wonderful! Here are some included below for you to see!

In Maths we have been diving into fractions. So far we have been looking at how to count in fractions to make a whole number, how to partition mixed numbers and counting beyond 1 in fractions. We can't wait to continue our fraction learning next week.

In Science this week we have rounded off our learning about animals and classification and began looking at how environmental changes affect animals and their habitats. We created wonderful reports on this also!

Star of the week:

This week our star is ... Lillie! Lillie created a wonderful double page spread in English and was extremely proud of it! Well done Lillie!

Things to remember:

  • Our letter for the school trip next term has gone out this week. Please give permission for the trip on parent pay, along with any funds required. Thank you in advance.
  • Home learning is now stuck to the bottom of EMT sheets. Please practice your spellings, maths task and read 5x weekly.
  • Please bring in reading records and water bottles each day.

Have a lovely weekend!
