This week we have been diving further into our geography and discovering the impact that extreme weather has on Florida. We have learnt all about hurricanes, tornadoes and rainstorms and how this impacts the people and places of Florida. 

In Music we had a rock and roll performance from Finn and his electric guitar! We have been learning all about rock and roll and this was a nice finale finish! 

In maths we have been working hard to understand proper fractions, mixed numbers, improper fractions and how to convert them. 

Star of the week: 

This week we will not have a star of the week as it is Year 1s class assembly. 

Things to remember: 

• Home learning this week is practising times tables. Please use TTRS and hit the button for this. Also reciting times tables at home helps us with our maths learning in school. 
• Next Tuesday is our school photo day and our Easter service in the afternoon. 
• Next Wednesday is our last day of term. We finish at 2pm. 
• Please bring in reading records and water bottles each day.
