What a fantastic day we had at The Roman Villa. The sun was shining when we arrived, and we were greeted by a Roman owner. We enjoyed a tour around the Roman Villa and were able to imagine what it was like when the Romans lived there. We saw the remains of mosaic floors, a Roman bath and a cold plunge pool and the kitchen and dining areas. We then got to make our own mosaic which will be brought home on Monday. It was great to see the children enjoying themselves and being able to bring to life what we had been learning in class.

In English, we have been learning about conjunctions and how to extend our sentences and in Maths we have started adding and subtracting using ones. At the request of the children, we did our table races on Thursday as we were out on Friday, and they will bring these home on Monday.
