PGL News 2019

Day 1 - Tuesday 12th November

We've arrived safe and sound! After a quick lunch we got straight on with our afternoon activities: vertical challenge, problem solving, crate challenge and fencing. Busy, busy, busy!

Everyone has shown determination and perseverance to complete their activities and have been really cheering each other on! We are about to start our evening activity of ambush! We are wrapped up warm and have our torches at the ready...

Come back tomorrow for the next update :-)

Day 2 - Wednesday 13th November

Every group has had a brilliant and full on day today! Some of the activities have been giant swing, archery, buggy building and climbing! Every single child had a go on the giant swing and loved it :-) Miss Davies even had a go, but didn't enjoy it quite as much...!! Buggy building was a new activity for us, it was a challenge of logic and skill. Mrs Ball enjoyed being driven along by a couple of the teams and their buggy. A couple of children managed to ring the bell at the top of the climbing tower which was a great achievement! So many children have pushed themselves and risen to challenges, we can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

Don't forget to check out a small selection of photos from each day in the 'PGL Photos 2019' section.

Day 3 - Thursday 14th November

We woke up this morning to a sprinkle of snow so have been wrapped up super warm all day! Luckily, the rain has missed us, so although it has been muddy, we are dry! Activities today have been abseiling, fencing, Jacob's ladder and fencing. We've seen some amazing bravery today in abseiling and great team work at Jacob's ladder - some groups even made it to the top!

We're about to go off and have a pyjama movie night! We can't wait to see our families tomorrow, but beware there are LOTS of dirty (and smelly) clothes coming home too!
