Spring 1 Week 6

I can't belive this was the last week of term 3! We have had another busy week in Ospreys.

In Maths, we have been learning about multiples of 4 and learning patterns for the 4 times tables. The children have been using these new skills with their time table races.

In English, we have been reviewing verbs and adverbs and learning about contractions and apostrophes for singular possession.

In Science, we have been writing fact files on an animal of our choice which included interesting facts, their habitat and nutrition. The children researched their chosen animal and wrote some great fact files.

On Tuesday it was Safer Internet Day. We had an assembly led by the school council and we did lots of activities in class in how to keep safe online. We have also been learning about online safety during our Computing lessons.

Star of the week is Jayden! Jayden has been working really hard during his lessons and has tried his best. Well done Jayden!

Our raffle prize for reading 5 times every week this term was won by Jim! He has won a book voucher to buy some books of his choice. Well done Jim. Fantatic reading!

Please continue to read 5 x a week over half term and practice timestables.

Next term PE days are Monday (Netball) and Tuesday (Yoga). Next term starts on Tuesday 20th February.

I hope you all have a wonderful half term break.

Miss Boddy :)
