It has been a great World Book Week!

We had an assembly to launch book week and all the teachers and teaching assistants bought props from books for children to guess what books they were from. Teachers took part in reading swaps throughout the week and read stories to different classes.

It was lovely to see parents in class on Tuesday for our stay and learn session. We read part of a story about an Enchanted Blue Rabbit and the children had to predict what would happen next. The children all had some great ideas for the story ending.

It was amazing to see all the fantastic hats on World Book day that had been made by the children. We had lots of fun trying to guess all the books. 

The children made book marks and wrote book reviews about their favourite books. It was lovely to see how much enthusiasm all the children had for reading and sharing their favourite books.

Star of the week was Frank. Frank has been working hard at school and put great effort into our compass lesson in Geography this week. Well done Frank!
